When my mom and I wrote my story, we did a lot of research. One of the things we learned was that the number one name for a male dog is Max. That’s when we got to thinking that it would be great fun to create another book, Life to the Max: More Maxims for a Great Life by Dogs named Max. This is an opportunity for those of you who have read and loved the stories in the original Life to Max to share the stories about your Max.

All you have to do is to submit a photograph of your Max (make sure it’s your photo and you can grant us permission to use it) and a story from his life that inspired you to learn some piece of wisdom. We’ll pick the top 20 stories to include in our next book and if you are selected, you will win an autographed copy of the original Life to the Max plus a pet tag that says, “I live Life to the Max!”

Even though we’ve always been sort of partial to Airedales, we’ll take any breed of Max. We might even take stories about cats named Max, but I don’t know if dog people and cat people can coexist. What do you think?
