Truly a Great Read

April 15th, 2008 by Robin

I don’t often respond to requests for review. However, when I received a copy of Life to the MAX, I knew I had to contribute my two cents worth.
MAX is truly a great read. As the author says, “We are all sent to this earth to learn certain lessons and our teachers can come in surprising forms.” Max is some teacher!

There are great moral lessons to be learned in life and we learn them here through the eyes of an Airedale Terrier named Max. His deep insights into the human condition and everyday life reflect those of some great philosophers–only Max barks them out in everyday terms that we can understand and integrate into our own value system.

The book is enhanced by illustrations by Terry Rohrs that make Max come alive as a true personality.

What we have here is a true winner and a worthwhile read for the whole family.
